Welcome

We are Indie Media Arts South, a subgroup of the National Indie Media Arts Field Group, created by The National Endowment for the Arts and Sundance Institute to continue the collaborative spirit and work of field meetings and other collaborations of leaders of independent media arts organizations across the United States.

Our hope is that we are able to connect artists, filmmakers, and arts organizations across the south to provide support and uplift southern voices.

IMAS currently has around 70 members representing arts organizations, film festivals, and filmmakers across the south. They say that many hands make light work, so we are always welcoming new members. Interested in joining? Click here!
